Hey, it’s ya boy Philly boy Jay…. Back in the building…. Coming at you from the left and the proper side of Philly with another delicious clean to make recipe!!!

Let’s speak approximately it!
This recipe handiest requires 1 lb (16oz) of frozen mixed greens. You can find a bag of those suckaz at your neighborhood grocery store/supermarket inside the vegetable phase of the freezer aisle. They come in a 2 lb (32oz) bag more instances than not, so in case you’re unlucky and have trouble locating them in a 16oz bag, just use 1/2 of a 32oz bag. I love mixed greens for a bevy of reasons.
1.) You get nutrients from numerous veggies (Green beans, Carrots, Corn, & Lima beans) all at once. 2.) They taste remarkable with pretty a lot any meat you may think of (bird, turkey, steak, fish, and pork).
And last but not least, they don’t require any labor. All you gotta do is throw these awful boys in a pot or skillet with a touch water or broth (I like to use hen broth), season in your liking, and within minutes they’re all done & geared up to be served.
Now the hard part for some people… even experienced cooks like myself, is getting the vegetables to the precise degree of tenderness without over or underneath cooking them.
Sometimes…. It’s the seemingly easy matters in existence that offers us the most problem. It took me approximately 10 instances to grasp cooking frozen greens, so if you’re one of these people who have a difficult time getting them on your desired tenderness, this is the right recipe for you.
Now on every occasion my fans question me questions regarding greens, they usually ask what I season them with or what ingredients can they use to make their greens pop.
I like to use hen broth, chook taste bouillon cubes, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. I assume the ones substances in conjunction with butter supply mixed greens an first rate flavor.
People reward my vegetable recipes all of the time when they taste them, asking me what substances I use! I additionally like to feature a little dill weed for decoration functions and to give the greens an amazing aroma.
Now there’s one aspect I want to mention about the broth….in case you don’t have any, don’t worry…. you could use water. When I don’t have any broth on hand, I use water along side some thing seasonings I have inside the cupboard at the time and I make it do what it do. Lol
The most critical element is ensuring you cook dinner them correctly… you don’t need to beneath cook them however you don’t need to overcook them either due to the fact they’ll be limp. Last issue you need to do is saute them to demise and remove all of the vitamins lol.
Try this recipe out… anybody pretty a lot knows a way to prepare dinner blended vegetables however AGAIN… for those who don’t… this recipe is perfect for you.
